Would you buy from your salesman?

Too often we think of auto professionals as warm bodies and just another number. Would you actually buy from your guys? Really, think about it. Would you spend your hard earned money from someone that you don’t care for? Why should your customer?

It’s a fact that people by from people they like and respect. Your customer typically visits 2-3 dealerships when they’re shopping. What’s the impression your customers get when they show up to your dealership?What do they see first?

Here are some tips that can help you make a better first impression:

1. Create a sales event environment at your dealership. Statistics show that a consumer is more eager to purchase a vehicle because of a sale or urgency build up.
2. Train your sales people to care about your first impression. Having them waiting outside ready to ponce like a tiger is not professional.
3. Do something different than the next dealership. Have a different approach than the “What you looking for” script.
